State police at Lehighton are investigating an act of criminal mischief.

Joanne Ricedorf, of East Stroudsburg, reported someone scratched the paint on the hood of her car while it was parked at 1180 Hickory Road, in Palmerton, Lower Towamensing Township.The incident occurred sometime between 10 p.m. on Sunday and 8 a.m. on Monday.
