A Philadelphia man apologized for entering a Monroe County business, and then was charged and jailed for the break-in.
Pocono Mountain Regional police said on April 10 they investigated a burglary at a Mount Pocono business. The investigation revealed that during the night someone used a rock to break a window to gain entry. Once inside the suspect stole about $145 in cash and went to sleep. Shortly after leaving the business police were called back because the suspect had returned to apologize.The suspect was identified as Christopher Foreman, 28. He was arrested and charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft, receiving stolen property, and criminal mischief. He was taken to the county prison in Snydersville and later arraigned by video.
