A Lehigh County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following a one-vehicle crash in Monroe County.

State police at Fern Ridge said John F. Turner, 42, of Allentown, was driving a 1994 Toyota Camry westbound on Interstate 80 in Tunkhannock Township when the vehicle went onto the south shoulder and struck the guide rail on the driver's side. The car then spun counter-clockwise and came to rest along the northern shoulder facing east.Turner, who was not injured, was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI, troopers said. Damages were termed major to the driver's side of the Camry.
