A rider on a motorcycle that crashed in Schuylkill County over the weekend sustained serious injuries.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Greg M. Kreiser, 44, of Lebanon, was operating a 2009 Harley-Davidson bike southbound on Geary Wolf Road in Pine Grove Township, about 5:25 p.m. on Saturday, and approaching a left curve.While negotiating the left curve the bike drifted across the white fog line and onto the shoulder, which was covered with loose gravel. Kreiser lost control of the bike, which crashed into the guide rail. The bike came to rest at the point of impact.A passenger, Dawn S. Gassert, 51, of Fredericksburg, Lebanon County, was seriously injured and taken to the Hershey Medical Center. Kreiser sustained a minor injury and was also taken to Hershey.Troopers cited Kreiser for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
