Theft incidents

State police at Lehighton reported on several theft incidents probed by troopers.

Thomas Hockman, 69, owner of Mountain Road Motors, located at 2934 Mountain Road, in Ross Township, Monroe County, reported five state inspection stickers were discovered missing from his business on April 1 about noon.Beverly Lambert, 62, of Saylorsburg, Monroe County, reported someone obtained her checking account information and made $725 in fraudulent purchases online. The incident was reported on April 3.Lisa Sullivan, 40, of Saylorsburg, reported unknown persons, pretending to be collection agents, informed her that she was the subject of an investigation and convinced her to pay them $300 to settle a fictional debt. The incident was reported on April 3.Stephen McDunough, of Palmerton, reported the registration sticker on his license plate for his 2005 Ford F350 pickup truck was stolen while it was parked on a lot at the Stone Ridge Manor Apartments, in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County. The theft was reported on April 3.Troopers said Pencor Services Inc., 613 Third St., Palmerton, reported the state registration plate YLG9013 was taken from a 2001 Ford plow truck while parked at 180 Pine St., in Lower Towamensing Township. The theft occurred sometime between March 24 and April 1.Anyone with information concerning any of these incidents is asked to call troopers at 610-377-4270
