State police at Frackville are investigating a burglary at a Schuylkill County residence.

Troopers said unknown criminals cut the screen on the rear door at 941 Center St., Sheppton, to gain entry. Once inside, the criminals then pried open a door leading to 339 Center St.While inside that residence the criminals removed several feet of aluminum baseboard heaters, a 100-gallon water heater and a jewelry box containing various pieces of costume jewelry.The criminals then fled through a rear door. The victim of the incident is Kathy Hoystrich, troopers said.The incident occurred sometime between March 5 and Saturday, April 5.
