State police at Fern Ridge are investigating the theft of mislaid property at Kinsley's Shop Rite in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County.

Deborah Ann James, 43, of Effort, reported someone took her wallet from her shopping cart after she had forgotten it. The incident occurred on April 1 at 4:33 p.m.
