St. Luke's Miners Hospital is sponsoring a series of free health talks for the communities served by the hospital. The seminars are designed to provide information on a variety of health topics.

The first session is scheduled for April 7 and will focus on exercise and heart disease risks. Guest speaker will be Joseph Paluck, exercise physiologist.The seminar will be held from noon to 1 p.m. at the Tamaqua YMCA, 1201 E. Broad St., Tamaqua. This session will be repeated from 11 a.m. to noon on April 29, at the Y, and from 4 to 5 p.m. on May 13, at Pyramid Sports, 230 Ochre St., Lehighton.Seating is limited, so pre-registration may be made by calling 1-866-785-8537.
