Chelsea Harlan, a senior at Northern Lehigh Area High School, has been named the Slatington Woman's Club Girl of the Month for March.

Harlan played field hockey (varsity captain), basketball, track and field. She served as class treasurer and is a member of Student Council, SADD and Senior Video Committee.She was selected to play on the All Pro Team and is a member of the National Honor Society.Harlan enjoys being outdoors, reading, painting and hanging out with friends and family.She plans on attending a four-year college to earn a degree in medical imaging or occupational therapy with a minor in Spanish.Her mother is Kellyann Harlan, stepfather is Roger Essner and she has two brothers, Tommy and Cody Harlan. She formerly lived in Austin, Texas.
