Mahoning Township police have charged Andrew Anthony Kressler, 65, of East Penn Township, with driving under the influence of a controlled substance and careless driving in connection with a Jan. 31 incident at Fedors Car Wash on Route 443.

Officers were at the car wash in response to an earlier two-vehicle crash when Kressler entered the parking lot, striking a stopped vehicle. He appeared to be intoxicated and was transported to the hospital for blood tests.The tests came back positive for the presence of Nordiazepam and Chlordiazepoxide.A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 7.
