A caregiver has been charged with stealing from the person she was caring for.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Jessa Heim, 20, of Pottsville, was caregiver for Francis Jones, 77, of 159 Mill Creek Ave., East Norwegian Township. Troopers said Heim took money from Jones' purse without permission.Troopers said when Heim was confronted she admitted the theft and returned the money. A charge of theft was filed, troopers added.
