A Monroe County man is facing drug counts following an incident that occurred on March 30.
Pocono Mountain Regional police said about 11:39 p.m. officers responded to 633 Main St., in Tobyhanna, to assist a medical unit. A male had cut himself.On scene officers made contact with Michael Louis Hammer Jr., 24, of that address. He had a significant cut to his leg. While in his apartment police observed in plain view several pieces of drug paraphernalia. Hammer also possessed a glass pipe packed with marijuana which he admitted was his.Hammer was taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for treatment of his leg injury. He will be charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, police added.
