State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a burglary at a Monroe County residence.

Troopers said a garage at the property of Sachin Leroi Inman, 42, of 1119 Sky High Terrace, Effort, Chestnuthill Township, was entered by unknown criminals who kicked open a rear door to gain entry.Once inside the intruders searched through several cabinets but did not take anything.The incident occurred sometime between March 17 and Tuesday, April 1, troopers said.
