A Carbon County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following an incident that occurred at 9:22 p.m. on Monday, March 24.

State police at Lehighton said Eric Michael Kester, 28, of Parryville, was stopped for a traffic violation at the intersection of state routes 209 and 248 in Franklin Township.He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.
