The Dimmick Memorial Library, located on Broadway in Jim Thorpe, will be holding a meet and greet from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday to introduce Mariann Kmetz, the new library director.

Kmetz started in the position in March. She previously served as an assistant library director at the Palmerton Area Library.The meet and greet gives the area residents the opportunity to welcome Kmetz and share their ideas.
