Lehighton Bible Church, Jamestown and Center streets, will hold Prison Ministry at the Carbon County Prison at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.Breakfast and Bible Studies will be held Saturday at the church with the Van Houtens. There will be a special speaker and singing with Brother and Sister Van Houten on Sunday, April 27.Lady's Day Out which includes shopping and dinner in Jim Thorpe will be held on Saturday, May 17.The annual trip to visit the Wolf Sanctuary of Pennsylvania, the Sturgis Pretzel Factory, and the Wilbur Chocolate Factory will be on Saturday, June 7.Weekly services are held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and at 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Sunday.Bethany eventsBethany Evangelical Congregational Church, North Street, Lehighton will hold Sunday worship with interim pastor, the Rev. Marlin Lafferty at 10:45 a.m. Sunday. Sunday school classes meet at 9:30 a.m. for all ages including adult Bible study class.Kid's Club for children in kindergarten to fourth grades meets at 6 p.m. Monday. Prayer Meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Choir rehearsal will be at 7 p.m. Thursday.There will be a Bible study at 10 a.m. Tuesday on the Book of Galatians.There will be a congregational spaghetti dinner at 5 p.m. April 5 in Fellowship Hall.There will be a Lenten hymn sing at 6:30 p.m. April 6.
