Two juvenile males told police they were walking on Water Street in Tamaqua shortly before 8 a.m. on March 19 when they were approached by a man in a silver vehicle, who reportedly asked them if they wanted to pet his puppy. The boys said no and then ran to the one boy's home in the 200 block of Pine Street.

The boys were unable to give a better description of the man or the suspect vehicle.Police want parents to be on the alert and report all suspicious activity to 570-668-6100.
