A Monroe County man is facing drug charges following a vehicle stop that occurred on March 14.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said John Harper, 52, of Tunkhannock Township, was stopped at 3:58 p.m. along Route 115 near Pocono Plateau Park. Harper had an outstanding warrant for his arrest issued out of the county's sheriff's department.On scene officers found Harper to be in possession of a large quantity of cocaine along with drug paraphernalia.He was placed under arrest and charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance-cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the county prison in Snydersville on the outstanding warrant.
