Community Lenten service at St. Paul'sA Community Lenten service will be held at 7 o'clock this evening at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 123 W. White St., Summit Hill. A soup supper will be offered before the service at 6:15. All are welcome.In case of inclement weather, call 570-273-4038 to confirm that service will be held.Worship service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 30 with Sunday school classes beginning at 9 a.m. Visitors are always welcome.The Sunday school class will be doing a short, simple Easter skit on Easter Sunday during the worship service. It will involve memorizing a simple line or two for each child.Parts will be distributed and practice will begin on March 30 at the end of the regular lesson. Please note that classes may run until 10:15 a.m.The annual Easter egg hunt will be held on Easter morning during the regular class time. Donations of small, wrapped candy or treats that fit inside the eggs are appreciated and needed.
