March 25, 1997 Lehighton's track teams gains a Mountain Valley Conference sweep of Nazareth. Alison Semanoff records three firsts to help the Indian girls gain a 93-48 victory. Semanoff takes the 400, 800 and javelin. The Lehighton girls also receive multiple firsts from Denele Brozino (100, 200), Jodi Schoenberger (100 & 300 hurdles) and Terri Frey (long & high jumps). In the boys meet, Ben Wolfe picks up a pair of firsts in the two hurdling events to help the Tribe post a 97-51 win.
