State police at Lehighton are investigating two burglaries that occurred in the 500 block of Lower Middle Creek Road in Polk Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said both break-ins occurred during the time frame of March 2 to March 22.A crawl space at one residence was entered and copper piping was removed. The criminals then entered an unlocked shed and removed a Stihl chain saw and a Stihl leaf blower.In the second entry a locked shed was entered on the property.The criminals then cut a propane line leading from a tank to the main home. They then fled the scene.Nothing was reported taken.
