The Lehighton Area School Board hired several coaches for the 2014-2015 school year on Monday evening.

The athletic hires included:Cross country - Erica Pagotto (head coach); Jennifer Tracy (assistant coach).Football - Tom McCarroll (head coach); Justin Fritz (assistant varsity coach); Brian Miller (assistant varsity coach); James Gurka (assistant JV coach); Steve Hluschak (assistant JV coach); Matt Kosciolek (assistant freshman coach); Rick Bennett (assistant middle school coach); Tim McCarroll (assistant middle school coach); Brent Andrew (volunteer coach); Tom Gable (volunteer coach); Charles Sterling (volunteer coach); Benjamin Tkach (volunteer coach).Golf - Matthew Fisher (head coach); Trevor Miller (assistant coach).Boys soccer - David Yob (head coach); Dylan Smith (assistant coach); Joseph Zarelli (assistant coach); Jack Molchany (assistant middle school coach); Ron Rabenold (assistant middle school coach).Volleyball - Timothy O'Connor (head coach); Terry Haberman (assistant coach); Alexa Jones (assistant coach).In addition, the school board approved Tom McCarroll, Jim Gurka; Steve Hluschak; Tim McCarroll; and Brian Miller to attend the Penn State University Football Coaches' Clinic April 4-6.For more information about LASD athletic programs, visit
