A Carbon County resident was the victim of access device fraud.

State police at Fern Ridge said Elizabeth R. Krojcer, 47, of 5 Water Birch Drive, Jim Thorpe, Penn Forest Township, reported someone gained access to her MasterCard credit/debit card numbers and made three purchases at the Mahoning Farmers Market totaling $90. The incident was reported on March 17.Troopers are also investigating a reported theft incident. Charles L. Zabriskie, of New York City, N.Y., reported his laptop computer and an Apple MacBook Pro were removed from his residence at 30 Lazarus Circle, Towamensing Trails, in Penn Forest Township. The theft occurred sometime on Saturday, March 22, between 3 and 9:15 a.m.Anyone with information concerning either incident is asked to call troopers at 570-646-2271.
