Fire broke out just before midnight Tuesday at a home at 357 Bridge St., in Lehighton.

The structure was destroyed. Another home next door was damaged. It was not clear if the home was attached to the primary fire site.According to reports at the scene two adults and pets were displaced from the home located near the Lehighton American Legion.Lehighton, Mahoning and Franklin fire companies were on scene through the early morning hours.A fire marshal was called to the scene.
