A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following an incident that occurred about 1:40 a.m. Saturday.

State police at Frackville said Stacy Kaufman, 36, of Barnesville, was stopped for a traffic violation at the intersection of state routes 1008 and 54 in Mahanoy Township.She was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was transported to a Pottsville hospital for a blood test.The DUI charge is pending the test results, troopers said.
