A Schuylkill County man has been charged with violating a protection from abuse order.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Jonathan Dehaan, 24, of Tower City, violated the order when he called a 50-year-old female from Tower City and then appeared at her residence on Monday between 5:51 and 6:05 p.m.The PFA order prohibited Dehaan from having any kind of contact with the victim or going on her property.
