March 13, 1952 Bill Mlkvy, Temple's "Owl without a vowel", becomes just the second player ever to be named to the All-Pennsylvania College Basketball team three seasons in a row. The senior averages a double-double, scoring 418 points (17.42 ppg) and pulling down 350 rebounds (14.58 rpg). The Palmerton graduate also dishes out 118 assists (4.92 apg) and ends his Temple career with 1,539 points. Other notable players to make the First Team include Tom Gola of La Salle and Pete Carril of Lafayette.
