Cheryl Toth, of 22 Rear N. Hancock St., McAdoo, has been cited by McAdoo Patrolman Anthony DiVirgilio following a Feb. 27 incident.

The officer was observing traffic at the intersection of South Hancock and West Sherman streets when he saw a gold sedan approaching at a high rate of speed. The sedan continued through the intersection without slowing down. The officer followed after activating the patrol car's emergency lights.The car came to a stop in the alley near 123 W. Blaine St. and the driver was identified as Toth. She admitted drinking "two beers at Charlie's" and was given field sobriety tests, which she failed.She was cited for driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol.
