State police at Lehighton reported on two arrests for simple assault.

Troopers said Ravin R. Prashad of Kunkletown was arrested on Sunday, March 9, at 11:45 p.m. in the 7000 block of Birch Drive in Polk Township, Monroe County. He was involved in a domestic dispute in which he allegedly struck the victim, not identified by troopers, with a metal can.Jared C. Doll, of Saylorsburg, was arrested on Tuesday, March 11, about 1:45 a.m. in the 900 block of Top Road in Polk Township, following a domestic dispute. He allegedly choked the victim, not identified by troopers, and slammed her hand in a door.
