Camp Hill driver faces numerous charges

Brian Wolfgang Jr., 26, of Camp Hill, is facing multiple charges as a result of the investigation of the unauthorized use of a vehicle that he crashed at 12:55 a.m. March 7 on Interstate 81 in Schuylkill County.

State police at the Frackville barracks said he complained of head and neck pain after the crash and was transported to the Pottsville Hospital by the Minersville EMS for treatment.Police said he was driving a 2014 Toyota Rav 4 southbound at the time. The man told police a deer ran out in front of the vehicle, causing him to swerve.The vehicle went off the left side of the road, struck an embankment in the median area and continued to impact several small trees before coming to rest.Police said the vehicle sustained heavy damages and was towed from the scene.Police said Wolfgang was suspected to be driving under the influence of alcohol and refused to submit to testing at the hospital.Police said he will be charged upon the completion of the investigation.During the investigation, police said they learned the East Pennsboro Township Police Department in Cumberland County reported Wolfgang drove the vehicle from his mother's residence in Camp Hill without her permission.
