A 48-year-old Tamaqua man will be cited after police observed him spinning his tires in the 500 block of East Broad Street on Monday afternoon.

Dean S. Maury, 541 E. Broad St., was behind the wheel of a red Ford Mustang at 2:55 p.m. He pulled out of a parking space traveling west, spinning the tires for almost half the block. Police conducted a traffic stop at the Turkey Hill Minute Mart.Maury will be cited for disorderly conduct with a motor vehicle.
