A Schuylkill County driver is facing multiple charges following an incident in Carbon County.

State police at Fern Ridge said Christian A. Emestica, 37, of Shenandoah, was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt eastbound on Interstate 80 in Kidder Township, about 5:25 a.m. on Monday, March 3, when the car left the road on the left side and struck a tree in the median.After the crash Emestica fled the scene, troopers said. He is facing multiple summary traffic citations.
