Sherry Sernak, principal of St. Peter and Paul Catholic School, Lehighton, has named the February Students of the Month.Preschool: Devan Curran and Braxton Roetz; kindergarten: Sofia Bastone; first grade, Julia Jachowicz; second grade, Luke Walker; third grade, Xamantha Descallar; fourth grade, Antigone Gonzalez; fifth grade, Luke Behler; sixth grade, Connor Hanley; seventh grade, Zachary Andrews; and eighth grade, Alyssa Bauder and Alexis Rohlfing.Girl Scoutsplan eventGirl Scout Sunday and World Thinking Day will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Sunday, March 9, at Trinity Lutheran Church.The Girl Scouts will be recognized during the church service and afterward, the World Thinking Day festivities will begin where the Girl Scouts will be offering food and activities from around the world.There will be Girl Scout clothing, uniforms, games and more.
