A Schuylkill County man was arrested on Tuesday, March 4, for domestic assault following an incident at his residence.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Joseph Dabashinsky, 28, of 429 Route 61, in North Manheim Township, was charged following incidents that occurred between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. at his home.Troopers said a verbal argument developed between Dabashinsky and Jessica Staller, 26, who resides there with him. The argument turned physical during which Dabashinsky held Staller on the ground while placing his hands around her throat. He also dragged her to the door by her hair while telling her to leave the residence.He then pushed Staller down the exterior steps of the home and stomped on her foot. He was arrested and arraigned before on-call District Judge James Reiley of Pottsville.
