State police at Fern Ridge are investigating two burglaries in the same area in Jackson Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said homes at 125 and 127 South Lane were entered. Nothing was apparently taken at 125, however, at 127 a trolling motor and battery were removed.The home at 125 is owned by Neville E. Strumpf, 66, of Philadelphia, and entry occurred sometime between Nov. 1, 2013, and Saturday, March 1. The home at 127 is owned by Mary A. Forciea, 64, of Philadelphia, and entry occurred sometime between Dec. 1, 2013, and Saturday.Anyone with information concerning these incidents is asked to call troopers at 570-646-2271.
