State police at Schuylkill Haven said Kelly Bruce of Tremont has been charged after she passed a check at Mach's Gut Candle Barn, formerly Blue Mountain Candle, located in North Manheim Township.

She passed the check on Dec. 21, 2013, and it was returned due to no account existing, troopers said.
