State police at Schuylkill Haven reported investigating a one-vehicle crash about 8:40 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, along Route 125 in Tremont Township.

Troopers said Karen M. Chapman, 53, of Minersville, was driving a 2013 Toyota Corolla southbound and negotiating a left curve, when she crossed the fog line and onto the berm. She overcorrected and crossed both lanes of travel and going onto the south shoulder where the Corolla struck the guide rail.After impact the car continued back over both lanes of travel and struck the guide rail along the north shoulder where it came to rest.Chapman was injured and taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center-E. Norwegian St., Pottsville. She was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
