A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following a one-vehicle crash that occurred about 7:20 a.m. on Oct. 19, 2013, but reported today by state police at Schuylkill Haven.

The crash occurred along Route 209, north of the intersection with Route 125, in Tremont Township. Aaron Williams, 22, of Pine Grove, was driving a Ford Taurus southbound when he crossed the fog line and onto the berm.He drove along the berm and knocked down a sign and then into a wooded area where his vehicle impacted with a tree.Troopers said their investigation revealed that Williams was operating his vehicle under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance. Also, illegal drugs were found in the vehicle.He was charged with DUI of a combined alcohol and drugs and possession of a controlled substance.
