More snow coming

Grease up your snow shovel because snow's coming, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

It might be only 20 more days until Spring but evidently Winter didn't get the memo.Today will start out partly sunny with a high of 30 degrees. But bundle up. The wind chill factor could feel like 4 below with a southwest wind from 3-8 mph. Tonight there is a 20 percent chance of snow showers with a low of about 25.Moving into Sunday, there is a 70 percent chance of snow and sleet scheduled to arrive sometime around 12 p.m. with a possible accumulation of an inch with a high of 32 degrees and a north wind around 7 mph. The NWS says, "The threat of freezing rain and sleet are a reality."Snow and sleet will continue throughout the day with an 80 percent chance it all turns to snow around 8 p.m. with an accumulation between 2-4 inches.Monday morning commutes may be difficult as there is a 90 percent chance that the snow continues during the day with a high of about 19 degrees into the night, tapering off around 1 a.m. Tuesday morning with a low of about 0 degrees. Total accumulations could range from 6-8 inches in our area, with some patches of 8-10.NWS also says it doesn't look like we'll have significant winds to deal with. The weight of snow and sleet alone could be enough to take down limbs and wires.
