An icy and snow-covered Schuylkill County road was the scene of a one-vehicle crash on Wednesday, Feb. 26.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Christine B. Sisko, 38, of Schuylkill Haven, was driving a 2010 Hyundai Tucson northbound on Route 209 in East Norwegian Township about 7:07 a.m. and negotiating a right curve. The vehicle slid on the icy road and traveled onto the east berm where the right front struck a pylon located at Boardman Brothers' business.It pounced off the pylon and began turning clockwise. The left front of the Tucson impacted with a second pylon, traveled back onto the road and came to rest.Sisko was not injured. The Tucson had to be towed from the scene.
