Two Monroe County drivers are facing driving under the influence charges in separate incidents.
Troopers said Kenneth J. Pridmore, 56, of Effort, was driving a 2006 Cadillac STS eastbound on Interstate 80 in Kidder Township, Carbon County, about 3:14 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 24, when the vehicle left the road on the north side and struck a tree.Pridmore was injured and taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg. Troopers said he showed signs of intoxication and is facing a DUI count.On Feb. 18 about 1:16 a.m. troopers stopped Christina H. Colucci, 38, of Effort, along State Road, just east of Route 115, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, for a traffic violation.She was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for DUI. She is also facing several motor vehicle code violations, troopers said.
