The senior defeated Bernhard in overtime in the quarterfinals and McHugh in the consolation bracket. A potential rematch between Ogozalek and Bernhard was thwarted when Northwestern's talented sophomore was forced to forfeit their third place match. Even with the loss, Bernhard's fourth place finish was good enough to move on to regionals. Kemmerer is ahead of McHugh after picking up a 2-1 win over the Tamaqua freshman in the quarterfinals. Leading 2-0 with 20 seconds left in his consolation match with Bernhard, the Lehighton sophomore suffered a shoulder injury, which led to a 4-2 defeat. After taking an early lead, Evans was unable to keep Labriola on his heels and was forced to play defense for most of the final two periods, eventually falling 4-2. Despite the loss, the senior will have a chance at redemption this weekend at regionals, a tournament he missed last season. Farber posted a 4-2 mark over the weekend, defeating Saucon Valley's Nick Schneider 3-1 in the fifth place match. Gouger and Davidyock each failed to medal at 138.145 - 1.
