A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following a vehicle stop that occurred about 10:27 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 18, at St. James and W. Market streets in Schuylkill Haven.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Charles Romberger, 35, of Schuylkill Haven, was stopped operating a 1997 Ford Crown Victoria with an expired registration place. At the stop Romberger showed signs of impairment, troopers said.Romberger agreed to submit to a breath test. Troopers said charges will be filed.
