State police at Frackville reported on two driving under the influence arrests made on Saturday, Feb. 15, along Schuylkill County roadways.

Troopers said Edward M. Emerich Sr., 46, of Frackville, was stopped about 12:01 a.m. along Coal Street in West Mahanoy Township. He was taken to a Pottsville hospital where he submitted to a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results, troopers said.Troopers said about 1:01 a.m. along Interstate 81 in Ryan Township, they came upon a disabled 1997 Ford pickup truck southbound. The truck had run out of gas.The driver was identified as Brian Keith King, 35, of Scranton. He had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his person, troopers said. He was taken to a Pottsville hospital for a blood test. The charge is pending the test results.
