State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a one-vehicle crash about 4:53 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14, along Route 534, about a tenth of a mile from Hemlock Drive, in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County.

Troopers said Anthony Ventimiglia, 73, of Albrightsville, was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck eastbound when he lost control. The truck left the road and struck a tree along the berm.Ventimiglia was not injured, troopers said.
