Simple assaultCriminal charges were filed against David Palka, 44, of 5 Deer Park Lane, Jim Thorpe, for two counts of simple assault and harassment. The incident occurred on Feb. 3 at 9:34 p.m. in the 900 block of Princeton Avenue.TheftCriminal charges were filed against Brandon Dailey, 20, of 517 Lehigh Ave., Palmerton, for theft, receiving stolen property, and firearms not to be carried without a license. The incident occurred on Oct. 1, 2013.Possession of drug paraphernaliaShane Wheatley, 21, of 4562 Barbara Lane, Walnutport, has been cited for possession or delivery of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, careless driving, and tire equipment and traction surfaces. The incident occurred on Jan. 21 at 9:12 a.m. in the 200 block of Delaware Avenue.Terroristic threatsA juvenile referral was filed against a 17-year-old Allentown male for terroristic threats, institutional vandalism, criminal mischief, two counts of persistent disorderly conduct, harassment, and two counts of disorderly conduct. The incident occurred on Jan. 29 at 2 p.m. in the 400 block of Delaware Avenue.Disorderly conductAngelia Fatzinger, no age given, no known address, was cited for disorderly conduct. The violation occurred on Feb. 2 at 1:43 p.m. in the 400 block of Delaware Avenue.Public drunkennessHolly Getz, 33, of 1013 James St., Lehighton, was cited for public drunkenness. The violation occurred on Feb. 1 at 9:18 a.m. in the 300 block of Delaware Avenue.Retail theftPreston Grow, 38, of 224 Delaware Ave., Apt. 1, Palmerton, was cited for retail theft. The violation occurred on Jan. 30 at 3:26 p.m. in the 500 block of Delaware Avenue.SpeedingStephanie Costenbader, 19, of 500 Horseshoe Drive, Palmerton, was cited for speeding. The violation occurred on Feb. 2 at 8:25 p.m. in the 200 block of Franklin Avenue.A citation was issued to Joshua Allen, 20, of 22 Hilltop Lane, Ashfield, for speeding. The violation occurred on Jan. 25 at 1:44 a.m. on Route 248 west.Traffic violationJacob Serrano, 24, of 353 Lehigh Ave., Palmerton, was cited for careless driving, and driving under suspension. The violations occurred on Jan. 30 at 9:25 p.m. in the 500 block of Delaware Avenue.Vehicle violationRobert Haines, 42, of 500 Franklin Ave., Palmerton, was cited for expired registration. The violation occurred on Jan. 27 at 6:35 p.m. in the 400 block of Delaware Avenue.Citations were issued to Kirstin Whitby, 26, of 1361 East Lizard Creek Road, Lehighton, for expired inspection, driving under suspension, required financial responsibility, expired registration, and operation following suspension of registration. The violations occurred on Feb. 1 at 11:26 a.m. in the 500 block of Delaware Avenue.Timothy Sterner, 42, of 344 Lehigh Ave., Palmerton, was cited for expired inspection. The violation occurred on Feb. 2 at 1:05 p.m. in the 400 block of Delaware Avenue.A citation was filed against Maria Escobar Menjivar, 26, of 426 Delaware Ave., Apt. D, Palmerton, for operating vehicle without valid license. The violation occurred on Feb. 2 at 1:50 p.m. in the 300 block of Alley E.Lora Naratil, 50, of 2780 Walnut Drive, Palmerton, was cited for expired inspection. The violation occurred on Feb. 1 at 4:40 p.m. at Delaware Avenue and Third Street.
