Daniel Hagans of 44 E. Grant St., McAdoo has been cited by McAdoo Police following a Jan. 5 incident.

An officer on patrol at 2:30 a.m. observed a male walking on North Cleveland Street and stopped to make sure everything was all right. The male was identified as Hagans, who told the officer he was walking hoe from a friend's house. There was a strong odor of marijuana coming from Hagans, so the officer asked if he had been smoking any such substance.Initially, Hagans said no, then pulled a smoking device with burnt marijuana residue from his left front pocket.He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
