A Lehighton woman was cited for underage drinking by state police at the Lehighton at 12:20 a.m. on Feb. 2.

Police said they stopped Catherine Varley, 20, for a traffic violation after which time they learned she had been drinking alcohol and was underage.The stop was made along Delaware Avenue in Palmerton.
