Salvatore Valente of Kresgeville has been arrested by state police at the Lehighton barracks for driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol.

Police said the arrest was made at 6 p.m. Jan. 31 in the parking lot of the Regency Plaza, SR209, Brodheadsville.Police said he was driving a Subaru Forester while intoxicated. He was taken to the Palmerton Hospital where he submitted to a blood test to determine his blood-alcohol level.
