The Slatington Woman's Club announced that Abbey Sauerwine was its Girl of the Month for February.

She is a senior at Northern Lehigh Area High School involved in Student Council, Interact (President), National Honor Society, Library Club (treasurer), E7 Environment Club, Rotary Observers, cross country and track.She enjoys running, the outdoors and working at Weis Markets.Sauerwine plans on attending a four-year university.She is the daughter of Pamela Jean and Clay Sauerwine. She has a sister, Maggie, 18, and a brother, John, 27.
